Beautiful short animations, all very personal. Two of my favorites are blorgween is real and the ugly doggy, but I love a great number of them more or less equally. Joe's child characters are adorable and (please forgive my use of this tragically I can't find a better word) relatable, and they have a nice amount of childlike wonder and interest and understanding while still connecting perfectly with their adult audience. I worry whenever I write about media I like I sound like an advertiser. I have a letterboxd, and left reviews of movies like M (1931) and Wings (1966) that I now would like to rewrite because they just feel so corporate. I have such love in my heart for these things — well, Mummy Joe and Wings anyway, M is just pretty solid — and I can never really express that in a way that actually communicates it.
